Mirror glaze looks gorgeous on the cakes. At first glance, you might think that it is impossible to make it yourself, but this is not at all the case!

What is required

  • 2 thick cake cakes with a diameter of 15 centimeters;
  • 230 white chocolate;
  • 1 cup of sugar;
  • ½ cup cold water plus ¼ cup water;
  • ½ cup of glucose syrup;
  • ½ cup of condensed milk;
  • 5 tsp. gelatin;
  • white glaze;
  • food coloring (for a galaxy effect, a combination of black, white, dark blue, violet, pink and blue dyes is best suited).

Recipe

Remove the tip from the cake and cut them in half. Collect the cake by placing a cream icing between the cake layers. Place the last layer upside down. Put the cake in the fridge for 20 minutes to grab the frosting.

Cover the entire cake with icing. Using a pastry spatula, distribute it evenly. Send the cake in the fridge for two hours to freeze the frosting.

Add gelatin to ½ cup cold water and mix well. Leave for 10 minutes to swell.

In a medium saucepan, pour глю cup of water, glucose syrup and add sugar. Stir well with a whisk. Cook the mixture over medium-low heat for 7-8 minutes. It boils, and sugar dissolves.

Add the swollen gelatin to the mixture, mix with a whisk. Add condensed milk and mix again. Pour the mixture into a cup of white chocolate. Culinary drops can be used or finely chopped white chocolate bar. Let stand for 2-3 minutes. When the chocolate gets darker, use a dip blender to mix everything thoroughly.

Pour the resulting icing into another cup, passing through a sieve.

Spread the mixture into five small cups to color it in different colors. Add two or three drops of dye to each cup. Mix well.

Place the cake on a baking tray on a stand, making it parchment. This will help to quickly get out after the design will be completed.

Pour the blue glaze into the dark blue and mix a little. Colors should not mix completely.

Pour the icing onto the top of the cake and let it fill in the sides. It will work best at a temperature of 30 degrees Celsius.

Add glaze of other shades with a spoon to get more color depth.

Use a spatula with a spatula to stretch the colors slightly to get a smooth finish.

Leave the cake on a stand for about 20 minutes, until all the excess icing has drained.
